Jessie Snellings, 30, passed on Sunday, January 26, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service to be held 2:00 EST, Monday February 3, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel Of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. William J. Glover, officating. Public viewing will be 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Jessie Benard Snellings was born on July 9, 1994 in Columbus, Georgia at Columbus Regional Medical Center to the parents of Veronica Fetterson and Alvin L. Rogers. He departed this life on January 26, 2025. He was the youngest of two sons. Jessie briefly attended Central High School and proceeded to receive his diploma and a certification in landscaping from Turner Job Corp in Albany, Georgia.

After graduation Jessie returned to Phenix City, Alabama and worked various jobs in the manufacturing industry and landscaping.

Jessie was known for his strong bond and endearing love that he had with his children. His love for football was shown as he cheered for his boys on the sidelines at their football games. He also enjoyed watching and rooting for the University of Alabama football team.

Jessie was preceded in death by his grandfather Jessie Snellings.

Jessie transitioned from this life, leaving to cherish his memories: his mother Veronica Fetterson (Timothy) of Columbia, South Carolina; his father Alvin Rogers (Darnesha) of Dallas, Georgia; his 5 handsome sons Jessie Snellings Jr., Kyser Snellings, Kannon Snellings, Kendall Snellings, Kyrie Snellings and his precious daughter Kali Snellings all from Phenix City, Alabama; his brother Dominick Snellings of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; his sister Monique Zh’Brai Campbell of Phenix City, Alabama; his devoted grandparents Charles and Gwendolyn Rogers of Midway, Alabama, grandmother Vera Rutherford Phenix City, Alabama; his uncles Christopher Snellings, Jessie Snellings; his aunts Larissa(Gary)Dallas, Christiana (Timothy) Hood; and a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins,other relatives and friends; the mothers of his beautiful children Jasmine Florence and Joanna Henderson;a special life long friend Casey Wilson.
