Obituary For Sonya Annette Watts Jones

MS. SONYA ANNETTE WATTS JONES – Age 59, of Fairburn, Georgia and formerly Canton, Georgia passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. She was a member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, a graduate of Cherokee High School Class of 1975, and was preceded in death by her one sister Eleanor Victoria “Vickie” Watts. She is survived by her parents, father, Robert S. Watts; mother, Elma B. Jenning Watts; sisters, Arlene (Terry) Bronson, Darlene (Scotty) Ogletree, Denise (Michael) Gay, Lyvonne Swanson, Sandra Harden of Canton, Georgia, and Phyllis Searles of Anchorage, Alaska; special friend, Debra Morris Pitts; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 390 Crisler St, Canton, Georgia 30114, with Pastor Lemora B. Dobbs and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening at the church from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Olivine Cemetery.
