Obituary For Samuel Wayne Adams

MR. SAMUEL WAYNE ADAMS – Age 65, of Rossville, Georgia passed away on Monday, January 16, 2017 in Albany, Georgia. He was a member of the Baptist Faith and was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Adams and Betty Jean Langston Adams, brothers, Roy Adams, Charles Adams, and John Adams. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Adams; daughters, Shannon Fairbanks, and Kelly Adams Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three brothers, Joe M. Adams, (Linda), Jerry L. (Regina) Adams, Joseph L. Adams, Sr.; sister, Wanda Jean (Robert) Porter; five grandchildren, one great great grandchild; aunt, Betty Langston, Mary “Betty” Smith, Lula M. Wheeler, Bernice Langston, Emma Langston; uncles, Charles Adams, and LeRoy Adams; a host of nieces nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia, 30736 with Rev. James Clark and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the funeral. Interment, Chattanooga National Cemetery.
