Obituary For Jerline Mann Porch

MRS. JERLINE MANN PORCH – Age 102, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017. She was born on October 11, 1914 to the late Mr. Jesse Washington Mann and Mrs. Ida Sally Shepherd Mann. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Horace Porch. Mrs. Jerline Porch was a retired teacher and she served the Gordon County Community proudly and will be remember and honored as a highly respected leader during her life. She touched many lives and families in the Northwest Georgia Area. She is survived by her two loving sons, Marvin Porch of Calhoun, Georgia and Clarence (Sonya) Porch; two grandchildren, Leah Porch, and Job Porch of Tyrone, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. A Service to Celebrate the Life of Mrs. Porch will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. at the Calhoun Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1411 Rome Road, S.W., Calhoun, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 256 Church Road, Curryville Community. Interment, Gordon Memorial Garden.
