Obituary For Norman Elder, Sr.

MR. NORMAN ELDER, SR. – Age 65, of Chattanooga, Tennessee passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert “Pop” Elder and Elizabeth “Ma” Elder. He is survived by his three children, Brandi (Brian) Allen, DaJuana (Chad) Hammond, and Norman Elder, Jr.; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Joyce) Elder and Lincoln (Bobbie) Elder; five sisters, Frances (Sidney) Eberhart, Mildred McBee, Norma Jean Guines, and Shirley Ann (Clarence) Williams, all of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Ann Elizabeth Weams of Columbus, Ohio; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at New Horizon Baptist Church, 2007 East 27th Street with Pastor Brian Allen, Dr. Willie Paul, and other ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery.
