Mr. Michael Anthony “Hack” Morrison, 69, of Smyrna, SC, passed away on January 22, 2025, with his family at his side. Hack admired and was devoted to his family. He was jovial and clever, always ready with a joke and a smile. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

His hobbies included pitching in horseshoe tournaments, playing pool, golfing for hospice, fishing, and hunting. Hack was a jack of all trades—there wasn’t much he couldn’t do, and he was a legend in his time.

In his career, he worked for Faulkner Well Drilling for 20 years and Mike Benfield Logging for 15 years. Hack was born on May 25, 1955, and was the son of the late Neva and Jack Morrison of York, SC.

Survived by:
• His devoted wife of 32 years, Frankie Morrison
• Son: Dwayne (wife Monica) Morrison
• Step-daughter: Tracey (husband Christopher) Burris
• Step-son: Michael (wife Laura) Craddock
• Sisters: Angela (late husband Lewis) Warlick, Shelia (husband Pierre) Goss
• Brother: Ozark (wife Ann) Morrison
• 5 Grandchildren, 8 Great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Service will be held at:
Shiloh Baptist Church
Location: 4455 Hoodtown Road, Sharon, SC 29742

Service, officiated by Pastor Larry Nunn,
Will take place on February 8, 2025.
• Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM,
• Followed by the Service at 11:45 AM.
