George West Munz, 81, of New Bern died Monday January 27, 2025 at CarolinaEast Medical Center.

His funeral service is 3:30 PM Friday, February 7, 2025 at St. Paul Catholic Church 3005 Country Club Rd. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM Thursday, February 6, 2025 at the mortuary.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Casey Griffin-Munz of the home; one daughter, Erin Casey Munz of Aliso Veijo, CA; two sons, West Robert Munz of Aliso Veijo, CA and Brett Paul Munz of New Bern; one sister, Paula West Barnett (Nicole) of Carefree, AZ; two grandchildren, Enzo Munz and Antonello Munz.
