MR. DONNELL DEMETRIUS “OG” JONES – Age 56, of Woodstock, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and was preceded in death by his father, Cicero Jones, stepfather, Bernard Chaney, grandmothers, Edna Walker, Sadie Jones, and grandfathers, Andrew Walker, Tom Buster Bennett, and McKinley Jones. He is survived by his mother, Annie Doris Mostiller Chaney; son, Demetrius Jones; grandchildren, Demetrius Jones, Jr., Ba’Maya Jones, and Laila Jones, all of Woodstock, Georgia; sister, Bernadette (Terrance) Chaney Sorrell of Cypress, Texas; brother, James Cleghorn (Felicia) Jones; aunts, Martha Allen of Rome, Georgia, Carolyn Jones of Menlo, Georgia, Mary Reed of Saginaw, Michigan, Helen O’Neal of Atlanta, Georgia, Celestine Jones of Summerville, Georgia, Jackie Brown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Paulette Sills of Flint, Michigan; uncles, Jack Mostiller of Summerville, John “Booster” Jones of Menlo, and William (Earlean) Chaney of Saginaw, Michigan; special cousins, Kenneth Underwood, Steve Adams, and Bertha Adams; godmother, Jeanette Adams; special friends, Henry Bugg and Sidney Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at New Bethel Baptist Church, 281 Georgia Avenue, with Rev. Dr. Franklin W. Johnson, Jr., Rev.
