Obituary For Colin Shropshire

MR. COLIN CHAVEZ SHROPSHIRE – Age 26, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. He was a former employee of Mt. Vernon Mill and attended LaFayette High School where he was on the basketball team. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Johnny and Annie Allgood, and George and Katherine Shropshire. He is survived by his parents, father, Adrian (Amanda) Shropshire of Chickamauga, Georgia; mother, Stephanie Earlene Chambers of LaFayette, Georgia; one sister, Shelby Shropshire Arden of Chickamauga; two brothers, Tyler Shropshire and Dillon Shropshire of LaFayette; paternal grandparents, Johnetta (Odell) McSears, grandparents, Vernon Shropshire, maternal grandparents, Gwen Chambers of LaFayette; Earl (Angie) Chambers of Calhoun; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. The Service of Memory will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 5:00 P. M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia with Minister Dwayne Stamper, Pastor Rheubin Taylor, and other minister officiating. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 11:00 A. M. and at Mount Zion Baptist Church on Sunday from 3:00 – 5:00 P. M. until the funeral hour. Still doesn't feel any less hurt without you here. Almost my entire life you held the most special place in my heart. Always there when I needed you, my best and funnest memories were us all just chillin and laughing our tales off. Every time we saw each other you'd give the best hugs, I truly think of you so often and prob everyday I can still hear your precious laugh. And that makes me smile, you didn't deserve to go the way you did but god had to of had plans for you in heaven, and now you are free and in heaven where you belong.
