MR. JAMES CARTER (“JUNE BUG”) MONTGOMERY, JR. – Age 56, - of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017. He was preceded in death by his mother, Janie Mae Lawrence Montgomery. He is survived by his wife, Tonya Scott Montgomery; four sons, Curtis Scott, Lawann (Veronica) Rooks, LaBronn (Ashely) Rooks, Maleek Rooks; grandkids, Bryon Abbott, Jayden Goldstein, Lamarean Abbott; father, James C. (Joyce) Montgomery; siblings, Donald (Valerie) Lawrence, Vernetta Shropshire, Julia Montgomery Griffin, Samuel Montgomery, Clifford (Susan) Jackson, Audrey (Jerry) Bundy; one aunt, Nora Wheeler; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Prospect Baptist Church, 194 Prospect Road, LaFayette, with Dr. Willie Womble as Eulogist, and Pastor Scott Copeland, presiding.
