A Memorial Service will be held at a later date in St. Louis, MO.

MS. SHADONNA CARROLL, affectionately called “Poochie,” daughter of Nita Louise Carroll was born November 25, 1978 in St. Louis, MO and departed this life January 15, 2025 at her residence in South Hill, VA.

She graduated from Sumner High School, St. Louis, MO. Poochie started her journey in life as an adult to venture out and soar the world and all the promises it offered. Through everything and anything, she never let life break her; she fell and continued to get up, bigger and better. Poochie always did her best at raising her kids and/or making sure they were not in harm's way and they were very loved.

Poochie leaves to cherish her memory: two children- Trevon Gambrell and Treiona Carroll; four siblings- Tonya Love, Melody Dupree, Natasha Bannerman and Tracey Carroll, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Now she has left behind all those earthly things to go be with the one who has always been there with her no matter what, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!! She is now free to be loved truly. God and his angels which is her eternal family have called her home. Hate to see you go, but glad you are free from the ways of this world. Relax and rest, you’ve done your part!!! Love you big Sis., until we meet again.
