Obituary For Bessie Kitchens Jackson

MRS. BESSIE KITCHENS “AUNT BEA” MADDEN JACKSON – Age 86, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Jackson, son, Orlando G. Jackson, daughter, Owida R Jackson, parents, Horace and Dora Madden, sisters, Irene Stamper, Nannie L. Dallas, Senora Stalling, Odessa Madden, and Lou Preyar, and brother, William H. “Bill” Madden. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalind R. Mosley; grandchildren, Thomas Chansy Mosley of LaFayette, Georgia, Tessa N. (Marcus) Watson of California, KanDis L. Perry, Kelsy R. S. Mosley of LaFayette; sister, Elizabeth Cannon of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, George Thomas Madden of LaFayette; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor, Sr. and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A.M and at the church on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
