Obituary For Betty Lou McEntyre Baker

MRS. BETTY LOU MCENTYRE BAKER – Age 88, a lifelong resident of Cohutta, Georgia passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her residence. She was a retired nurse of Dr. Boozer and Dr. Paul Bradley for over thirty years. Mrs. Baker was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tennessee and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Baker, parents, Arthur and Gladys McEntyre, sister, Robbie Mae Robinson Preston, and brothers, A.C. McEntyre and Earl McEntyre. She is survived by one sister, Sarah Johnson of Chattanooga, Tennessee; two special nephews, Jackie Robinson and Michael Robinson of Cohutta, Georgia; godson, Chandler Jackson; two god daughters, Saraya Stephens and Candace Dixon; sisters-in-law, Wilma Parks, Sallie Walton, Mollie Burch, and Helen Manning; brother-in-law, Raymond Baker; special thanks to Pamela Cooper and Gloria Harris; her caregivers, Ebony Hampton, Nerissa Moore, and Tameka Skillern; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Pastor Dr. Edward Robinson and other ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 12:00 Noon and the family will receive friends one hour before the service.
