Obituary For Willa Patterson Adams

MRS. WILLA PATTERSON ADAMS – Age 89, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017 at a local health care. She was a retired teacher of the Ringgold School System and was preceded in death by her husband, George Marcus Adams, parents, Edward and Lizzie S. Patterson, and two brothers, James and John Patterson. She is survived by her four sons, Willie George (Catherine) Adams, Herman (Luz) Reid, Rev. Robert (Trina) Reid, and James (Annette Miller) Reid; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mary E. Smith, Lula M. Wheeler, and Helen Adams; brothers-in-law, Mose Charles Adams and LeRoy Adams; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia, with Rev. Jimmy Ingram, Pastor Edward Ellis, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. Interment, Ringgold Community Cemetery.
