Obituary For Earnest Howard Golston

MR. EARNEST HOWARD GOLSTON – Age 77, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017. He was born on February 20, 1940 in DeRidder, Louisiana to the late James Kenny and Rebecca Tyler Golston. He was preceded in death by three brothers: James Golston, Albert Golston and Arthur Golston, and sister, Bessie Mae Paul. He is survived by his wife, Hiawatha Lavell Mann Golston; one son, Darryl Thurston (Flora Lee) Golston; granddaughter, Megan Golston of Calhoun, Georgia; sister, Wilma Gilbert of Baltimore, Maryland, four sisters-in-law, Cupidean Murray, Phyllis Benson, Priscilla Clark, and Mable Mann, one brother-in-law, Walter Murray; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 256 Church Road, S.W., Calhoun, Georgia, with Pastor Torrence Mitchell and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:30 A.M. until the funeral hour.
