Obituary For Luke L. Byrd

MR. LUKE L. BYRD - Age 75, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Gordon Health Care. He was born in Jasper, Georgia on July 4, 1942, was retired from Robertson Tire Store, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. His parents, Ben and Mary Dale Hill Byrd, two brothers, Clifford Byrd and Nathan Byrd, have preceded him in death. He is survived by his two sons, LaBron (Vera) Byrd of Cartersville, Georgia and Travis Byrd of Calhoun, Georgia; daughter, Mary (James) Bryant of Fairmount, Georgia; stepchildren, Marty (Cee Cee) Passley and Sonya Clyde of Calhoun; five grandchildren, Jermany Byrd, Jorven Byrd, Jayla Byrd, Kalish Printup, and Vontarius Langston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Friendship Baptist Church, 452 West Line Street, Calhoun, with Bishop Claud Jones, Pastor James Washington, and other ministers officiating.
