Obituary For Charles Ivan Fields

MR. CHARLES IVAN FIELDS – Age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Hamilton Medical Center. He was the son of the late Charles Herbert Fields and Martha Allen Fields. Grandparents who preceded him in death are Chris and Fannie Houseworth Fields, Robert Allen, and Emma (Oliver) Allen. For many years, he was employed at Junkman and Sons and attended Emery Street School. He is survived by his three sisters, Linda Moore, Angelina Lindsey of Dalton, Georgia and Ann (Danny) Johnson of Rome, Georgia; brothers, Leslie Monzell Fields and Zell Herbert (Linda K.) Fields of Cleveland, Tennessee; aunt, Emma Sue Broome of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Dr. Stephen Thomas as Eulogist and Pastor Charles Catchings, presiding. His remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday after 11:00 A.M. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 until 8:00 P. M.
