Obituary For Oliver Randolph McDaniel

MR. OLIVER RANDOLPH McDANIEL – Age 84, Of Summerville, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Danville, Virginia. He retired from World Carpet in Dalton, Georgia. He was born on November 27, 1933 to the late Thomas Jefferson McDaniel and Sarah Elizabeth Jones McDaniel and was preceded in death by his wife Rosie Mae Adams McDaniel, daughter, Elouise H. Rounsaville, and son, Fredrick G. McDaniel on November 28, 2017. Survivors are his loving family; daughter, Glenda Hudgins of Summerville, GA; son, Cameron L. (Briseis) McDaniel of Elon, NC; sisters; Dorothy Brown of Atlanta, GA; Eleanor McDaniel and Patricia Jackson of Boston, MA; brothers, Lazarus (Larain) McDaniel of Gonzales, LA; Alfred (Mary) McDaniel of Lyerly, GA; Steve McDaniel of Gaylesville, AL; sister-in-law, Rebecca McDaniel of Augusta, GA; brother-in-law, Jerome Poole of Canton, GA; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. from Cedar Spring Baptist Church with Pastor James Clark officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment, Pond Spring Cemetery. Arrangements are by Willis Funeral Home, Inc., Dalton, Georgia.
