Obituary For Tanya Christine Macon Gainor

MRS. TANYA CHRISTINE MACON GAINOR – Age 66, - Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017. She was the widow of the late Jesse Gainor and was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She retired from Shaw Industry and Wooddale Nursing Home. She was also preceded in death by her father, Ben Jo Macon, Jr., and mother, Jeanette Lovely Cunningham She is survived by her daughter, Vicki A. Macon; three grandsons, Valentino Macon, Vonta Macon, and Anthony Johnson, Jr, of Dalton, Georgia; stepfather, Clifford Cunningham, of Dalton; one brother, Louis (Deborah) Macon of Columbus, Georgia, sister, Willena (Johnny) Taylor; stepsister, Tiffiany (Billy) Hiles, of Dalton; uncle, Tommy (Betty) Macon; special friend, Curtis Rose and her pet dog, Channel; a hosts of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, the Gainor Family, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel with Pastor Charles D. Catchings as Eulogist, and other Ministers officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday after 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. Interment, West Hill Cemetery.
