Obituary For Ralph Elton Ellis

MR. RALPH ELTON ELLIS – Age 55, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born on September 12, 1962 to the late Clifford Ellis, Sr. and Louise Elizabeth Henderson Ellis. He was a graduated from Cass High School in 1980 and a member of Pine Grove Independent Church. Ralph loved fishing, basketball, billiards, swimming and baseball. He was preceded in death by his brother, Lanier Ellis, nephew, Clifford Ellis III, aunt, JoAnn Sullivan, grandparents, Elder and Forrest Wilkins Ellis, and Ralph and Lucy Mae Jackson Henderson. Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Ryan Ellis of Marietta, Georgia; brother, Clifford (Shurrie Romine) Ellis, Jr.; aunts, Pastor Elsie (McKinley) Pruitt and Carrie Ann (Miller) Tanner; uncles, Elder Elmer (Eloise) Ellis, Braynard Ellis, Willie Ellis and, Warren Darnell Ellis; and best friends, Winfred Wade, Jeffrey Wilkins and Tommy Mays. Funeral Service will be held Friday, January 19, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at the Glory Harvester Church, 1988 Joe Frank Harris Pkwy, N.W., with Bishop R. Dexter Nesbitt and other Ministers officiating. His remains will lie in state at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery.
