MS. JACQUELINE ELAINE “JACKIE” MCCARTER - Age 51, of Decatur, Georgia, formerly of Chickamauga, Georgia, passed away January 13, 2018. She was preceded in death by her son, Sharone Tyrell Porter and parents, Joe McCarter, Sr. and Doris Rutledge McCarter. She is survived by her children, Carlos (Bonnie) McCarter, Akeiba Porter, and Torrie Porter; close friend, Sytira Porter and LeRoy Parks; uncle, Jessie (Willie Mae) Ruthledge; a host of grandchildren, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Mt. Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia, with Pastor Edward Ellis, II and other ministers officiating.
