Obituary For Ruby L. Young

MRS. RUBY LEE STALLINGS YOUNG - Age 83, of LaFayette, Georgia and widow of the late John Calvin “J. C.” Young, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was preceded in death by her father, William Stallings, mother, Senora Madden Stallings, sister, Niner Ruth Jackson, and brother, William Stallings. She is survived by her loving and devoted children, Joan Ware of Jasper, Tennessee, Jerry (Gail) Young of Dalton, Georgia, Marcella (Rev. Alexander) Bullard of Chattanooga, Tennessee, David (Laura) Young of LaFayette, Georgia, Herman (Inez) Ragland of Atlanta, Georgia, Pamela Coker of Chattanooga; twenty-seven grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Service will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 238 Dunwoody Road, LaFayette, Georgia, with Pastor Rheubin M. Taylor officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home on Saturday after 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service.
