Obituary For Nathaniel Knowles

MR. NATHANIEL KNOWLES - Age 50, of Menlo, Georgia, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018. He was born on October 28, 1967 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Affectionately called “Nay Nay”, Nathaniel joined Lawrence Chapel United Methodist Church. He graduated from Chattooga High School with honors in 1985. He attended Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, DeVry Institute in Atlanta, Georgia, and graduated from Southern College of Technology in Marietta, Georgia with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering. He had a love for wrestling and for the Dallas Cowboys. Nathaniel obtained his degree as a 33rd Mason in the Holland Lodge #47. Those left to share many fond memories and to mourn his loss are his devoted mother, Theresa Knowles of Menlo, Georgia; brother, William Kelly (Cheryl) Harris of Lyerly, Georgia; aunt, Myrtis Evans; uncle, Marcellous Knowles of Summerville, Georgia; one niece, Tabatha (Tamarius) Evans; one nephew, William Casey Harris of Summerville; great nieces, McKenzie Evans, Sydney Evans, and Ravyn Evans; special cousins, Tracey Esmann of Menlo; aunts, Laura Knowles and Ruth Starr; of Summerville; great great aunts, Jerrill Dean Hudgins of Chickamauga, Georgia and Phyllis Mosley; special friends, Darrell Render, Joe Green, Rev. & Mrs. Windell Smith, Vincent Kenny, Glen Watkins, Jordan Lee, Kenneth Adams, and many saddened cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. at New Hope United Methodist Church, 309 Martin Street, Summerville, Georgia, with Pastor Robert Barrett, Rev. Kenneth Griffin and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friend at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. Interment, Summerville Cemetery.
