Obituary For Ruby Jewell Woods Hyatte Puryear

MRS. RUBY JEWELL WOODS HYATTE PURYEAR – AGE 102, - Of Wood Station Community passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018 in a LaFayette Health Care. She was a life member of Wood Station A.M. E. Church. She is the daughter of the late Gordon and Della Woods, and was preceded in death by her five sisters, and three brothers. Survivors are her one sister, Bernice Baker of LaFayette, Georgia, foster sister, Hazel Green of Chattanooga, Tennessee; foster children are Clarence Scruggs, Eric Hunter, April Chappell, Inez Bruce, Joyce Hubbard; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at New Bethel Christian Fellowship Church, 4009 Round Pond Road, LaFayette, Georgia, with Minister Sheila Bomar Spence officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour before the service. Interment, Wood Station Cemetery.
