Obituary For Rosella Tibbs Watson

MRS. ROSELLA TIBBS WATSON – AGE 82, Of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. She was born on October 26, 1935 to the late Roosevelt Tibbs, Sr. and Ethel Dwight Tibbs. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Roosevelt Tibbs, Jr., William “Billy” Tibbs, two sisters, Clemie Watson, and Carrie Taylor. Survivors are her husband of sixty-four years, Walter Watson; two sons, Michael (Linda) Tibbs, Danny Watson; two daughters, Shirley Bonds of Dalton, Georgia, and Sally (Geoff) Miller of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Tiffany Brinson, Jennifer O’Neal, Rodney Bonds, Chris Bonds, Fallon Watson; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Patsy Martin, Patricia Hardson; two brothers, J. C. (Faye) Ramsey, and James (Delores) Ramsey of Dalton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Service for Mrs. Rosella Watson will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2108, 1:00 P.M. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1817 Dug Gap Road, Dalton, Georgia, 30720, with Elder John Shaheen officiating. Her remains will lie in state at Willis Funeral Home after 11:00 A.M Friday until the funeral hour. Interment, Hopewell Cemetery.
