Obituary For Wilson Clements Jackson

MR. WILSON CLEMENTS JACKSON – Age 90, - of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1928 to the late George Washington Jackson, Sr. and Mattie Velma Cannon Jackson. He was retired from Wheland Foundry after thirty years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Ware Jackson, son, Donyelle Jackson, brothers and sisters, G. W. Jackson, Jr., Lorean, Roland, Bill, Joe, Oscar, Marie, Archie, Sr., Johnny, and Faye Jackson. He is survived by his five sons, Kevin (Charlotte) Jackson of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Jeffrey (Alicia) Jackson, Dale (Stacy) Jackson, Craig (Heather) Jackson, and Teddy (Tina) Jackson, of LaFayette, Georgia; four sisters, Lula Mae Elkins of Paris, California, Helen Madden of Summerville, GA., Geraldine (Cleveland) Smith of Noble, GA., Linda (Khalid) Kamal of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Glynn (Bernice) Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio, and Timmy (Margaret) Jackson of Dalton, Georgia; aunt, Lois Thomas; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 16, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at Prospect Baptist Church, West Armuchee Road, LaFayette, GA. With Pastor Scott Copeland and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 7:30 P. M. Interment, Jackson Family Cemetery.
