Obituary For Vera Storey Holland

MRS. VERA STOREY HOLLAND – Age 87, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018. Those who preceded her are her late husband, John Robert Holland, her son, Kendall Storey, daughter Christine Teasley, parents, Ciscero Storey and Lois Suttles Storey, sisters, Mary Jo Jones, Ida Mae Smith, Eunice Storey, and Toledo Storey Sagoes; nephew, Christopher Storey; granddaughter Lisa Renee Benton; and grandson Adrian Jackson. Those left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Shirlane (Gene) Jackson, Kenney Storey, Francena West, Tony Thomas, and Sheila Holland; sisters, Joyce Rooker, of Dalton, Betty Taylor of Ohio, Lois Lee of Pennsylvania, Muriel Hayes of Missouri; two brothers, Jerry Storey and Bobby Terry (Kathy) Storey of Dalton; daughter-in-law, Wanda Storey of Dalton; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 1:00 P. M. at Mountain Ridge Baptist Church, 1401 Martin L. King, Jr. Blvd., Dalton, Georgia, 30721, with Dr. Jerry Jones, officiating. Her remains will lie in state at the funeral home after 11:00 A. M. on Friday. Interment: West Hill Cemetery.
