Obituary For Charlotte Greene Hudgins

MRS. CHARLOTTE GREENE HUDGINS – Age 78, - of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018. She is the daughter of the late Mr. Ralph Greene and Mrs. Estelle Andrews Greene, and was the widow of the late Mack Hudgins. Charlotte was retired from Roper Corporation and was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church. Charlotte was blessed with six children. Two sons have preceded her in death, Roy Lee Hudgins and Reginald Hudgins. She is survived by two loving and devoted daughters, Lena H. (Gregory) Cooke, Sandra Hudgins of Chattanooga, Tennessee; son, Raymond Hudgins of Ringgold, Georgia, and Michael (Petra) Hudgins of Enterprise, Alabama; five grandchildren, Vanessa (Joern) VonKampen, Samantha, Jaiden, Tyler, and Ryan; one great grandchild, Rhyleigh Hambrick; sisters, Jo Pearl Adams, Laverne, Linda, Mary Greene; brothers, Ralph Greene, Jr., Chester Leon Greene, all of Ringgold; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Peria Baptist Church, 341 Sparks Street, Ringgold, Georgia 30736 with Pastor Edward Ellis, Presider, and Pastor Terryl James as Eulogist, and other ministers officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday evening from 7:00 – 8:00 P.M. Interment, Wood Station Cemetery.
