Bro. James Lee Norwood was born May 13, 1950 to the union of the late James Norwood and Jellene Massey Norwood in Mobile, AL. James accepted Christ at a early age @ Little Welcome Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. G. L. King.

He leaves to cherish his memories a Loving, Devoted Mother, Jellene Norwood of Mobile, AL (1) loving brother, Clliford (Betty) Norwood of Atlanta, GA. (6) Devoted Sisters, Elder Barbara( Jeffrey) Smith, Sr of Mt. Vernon, NY; Irma (Robert) Smith- Mc Cants , Thelma ( Johnnie) Williams, Sr, Carolyn Norwood, Benita (Johnny) Archard, Sr and Rosie (Elder Guy) Hudson all of Mobile, AL . 9 Nephews, 6 Nieces, 3 Loving Aunts, and a host of other friends and relatives.

Mr. Norwood remains will lie in state Saturday August 11, 2018 @ Freewill Pentecostal Church (Biloxi Ave) Mobile, AL 36608 with Bishop Robert Lofton , Pastor and Elder Guy Hudson, Officiating Minister. The Earthly Bed of Rest will follow in Whispering Pines Cemetery.
