Mrs. Georgene Powell entered into rest Thursday, December 26, 2024, at Piedmont Hospital Augusta.

Public viewing will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 3:00PM to 5:00PM at the mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 10, 2025, at 1:00PM at Macedonia Church of Augusta, 1828 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, Georgia. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Southview Cemetery, 1102 Nellieville Road, Augusta, Georgia. Services will be live streamed on W.H.
