Ahmed Saleem Alsiddiq, 61, of Columbus, GA passed on Sunday, February, 2, 2025 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. EST Saturday, February 15, 2025 in the C.T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Rev. Harrison Ford, officiating. Public viewing is 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST on the day of service.

Mr. Ahmed Saleem Alsiddiq was born June 22, 1963 in Pittsview, AL to the late Annie Mae Powell and the late Richard Cochran. He passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arthur Powell, Eddie James Powell; sister, Margaret Marie Powell; and a wife Collette Molet-AL Siddiq. He was educated in the Lee County Public School System in Fort Myers, FL and was a long-distance truck driver.

He is survived by his children, Alisa Huguley, Sherece McLaurin, Stephanie (Pierce) Montgomery, Lisa Lynn Upshaw (Torrey) Gooding; siblings, Gennie Powell, Abraham Powell (Patty Joe), Yvonne Collins, Diane Powell and Franklin Powell; grandchildren, Ka’Lonie Huguley, Zayden Huguley, Timothy McLaurin, Coryn Montgomery, Jordyn Montgomery, Michelle Montgomery, Pierce Montgomery, Jr., T’Le Upshaw and Daylyn Upshaw; a host of nieces and nephews.
