Obituary For Claude Vernon Shropshire

MR. CLAUDE VERNON SHROPSHIRE - Age 69, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away Monday, September 10, 2018. He was born on September 13, 1948 to the late George Green Shropshire and Katherine Stalling Shropshire. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon “Baby Sis” Shropshire, brother, Murl Shropshire, grandsons, Colin Shropshire and Jarred Shropshire.

He is survived by his two sons, Adrian (Amanda) Shropshire, Vernon “Boogie” (Michelle Toss) Shropshire; sisters, Gwendolyn “Sis” Shropshire, Sandra “Pookie” Montgomery, of LaFayette, Georgia; brother, George “Buddy” (Shirley) Shropshire; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; aunts, Sally Ware of LaFayette, and Marlene Chaney of Chickamauga, Georgia; uncle, Henry Shropshire of Ohio, Gary Stalling of LaFayette; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Service for Claude Vernon Shropshire will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the New Bethel Christian Fellowship Church, 4009 Round Pond Road, LaFayette, Georgia with Pastor Ken Carson as Eulogist.
