A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says, "Grieve not for me.Remember the best times, the laughter, the song. The good life I lived while I was strong.
Robert Michael Mirgaliotta, known affectionately as “Bobby” to his loved ones, passed away suddenly on February 18,2025, at his home in Manson, NC. It was just one day after he celebrated his 66th birthday. Robert was born February 17, 1959, in Tampa, FL, to his parents Earlyne and James Miragliotta. Preceding him in death were his mother Earlyne, father James, brothers James II, and Richard, niece Danielle Perillo and nephew Joe Miragliotta.
Rob is survived by his devoted fiancée Barbara Jordan, with whom he shared a deep and loving bond. He is also survived by his brother John (Diane), sister Carol Perillo (Joe), and beloved nieces and nephews Mark (Shaena), Nick (Sydney), and niece Gina. Rob’s family was his pride and joy, and he cherished the time spent with his loved ones.
In terms of his professional life, Rob was a skilled individual in electrical, irrigation, and plumbing work. His dedication and expertise were respected by all who knew him. Outside of work, he had a variety of interests and hobbies that brought him joy. He was an avid fisherman, a talented painter, and also had a passion for martial arts. Additionally Robert was a sports enthusiast, particularly when it came to rooting for his beloved Tampa Bay Teams.
Throughout his life, Rob made numerous contributions to his community and society. His kind and generous nature led him to always be willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Robert had a special connection to animals and was known for his compassion towards them. He will be missed by their fur baby daughter Miss Coco.
What truly set Rob apart were his personal qualities. He had a gift for conversation and a wonderful sense of humor that endeared him to all who were fortunate enough to know him. People were naturally drawn to his warm and outgoing personality, making him a cherished friend to many.
Rob’s impact extended beyond his immediate family, as he shared special bonds with Barbara’s relatives who adored him as their “little brother”, “nephew” and “Uncle Rob.” His presence brought joy and laughter to all those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Robert Michael Miragliotta will be deeply missed but forever remembered for his kind spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering generosity. His legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Robert will be held at a local restaurant to be determined.
In addition, a separate Celebration of Life will take place in Tampa, Fl where friends and family can come together to honor his memory.
