Charde’ Lamara Hardy entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Spartanburg
Regional Healthcare System. She was born in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, on December
25, 1990, to the late Sherry Hardy and Charles Smith.
Charde’ was a 2009 graduate of Broome High School. She received her Associate Degree in
Business Administration and Management in 2011 from Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC. She continued her education at Virginia College, where she earned a certificate in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant. She was a member of Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in
Pacolet, SC.
Left to cherish fond and loving memories are: her fiancé, Kendrick Hughes, their daughter, Kassidy Hughes, and son Kason Hughes all of the home; her brother, Arius (AJ) Hardy of Spartanburg, SC and surviving paternal grandmother, Ernestine Horton of Spartanburg; her uncles, Stevie (Wanda) Gist, of Boiling Springs, SC, Rev. Darrell (Tonya) Smith, and Ernest Lee Smith both of Spartanburg, SC, Granuel (Tonja) Smith of Bennettsville, SC; her aunts, Rhonda
(Arthur) Littlejohn and Stephanie Stephens both of Spartanburg, SC; her surviving great-aunts, Tommie H. Goode of Spartanburg, SC and Mae C. Hardy of Pacolet, SC; and a host of cousins, family, and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at The John Stinson Woodward Memorial Chapel, Spartanbubrg, SC. Burial will be in the Cemetery St. Cemetery, Spartanburg, SC.
