JACKSON, Mrs. Ernestine H., a resident of Tuskegee, AL, passed February 28, 2025, at Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at D.C. Wolfe Elementary School, Shorter, AL, Rev. Evans Faulk, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweet Gum A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery, Shorter, AL, McKenzie's Funeral Home Staff, directing. Visitation will be held on March 7, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jackson will lie in state one hour prior to the service.
