David Bary Lewis passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 surrounded by loving family. Born in Plainfield, N.J. on December 28, 1962, he was the son of the late, Walter Charles Lewis and Ethel Alida Lewis.

David leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Barbara, sister Diane Lewis of Fanwood, N.J., his sister-in-law Jean Henry of Lynchburg, VA, his niece Jessica Henry of Lynchburg, VA, his nephew James Calhoun and niece Angie Shepard of St. Petersburg, FL, nephew Scott Martinson and niece Judy Martinson of Longmont, CO, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends and his church family of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, GA. David loved sharing his gentle, kind smile and sense of humor with others and loved the Lord with all his heart.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 8th at 12 Noon at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Greensboro, GA with Pastor Trellas S. Sheats Sr. officiating. Watts Funeral Home is in charge of final rites. Interment will be in the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
