Mr. John Martin Terry, of Baltimore, Maryland formerly of Macon, North Carolina departed this life on Sunday, March 2, 2025, in Maryland.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 15,2025 at 12:00 pm in the Sanctuary of Greater Ashley Missionary Baptist Church, in Vaughan community, Macon, North Carolina. The Reverend Milton Jones will officiate, and Minster Michael Brown will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Crystal Terry-Pope; one grandson, Cameron Pope; one granddaughter, Konner Pope all from Baltimore, MD; his life partner, Shirley Simpson, Baltimore,MD; two sisters, Elizabeth Brown of Vaughan, NC, and Lenetta Terry of Boston, MA; two brothers, Billy Terry (Tency) of Lakewood, NJ, and Emerson Terry of Tom’s River, NJ and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.

Public Viewing will be held at the church from 11:00am to Noon.
