Funeral service for Kingston Burns, 6, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Providence Baptist Church, 2087 Lee Road 166, Opelika, AL, 36804 with interment in Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL, 36801, Pastor, Dr. Rusty Sowell, Pastor Keith Badowski, Words of Comfort and Pastor Jerrell Winters, Eulogist.
Master Burns, who passed away Monday, February 24, 2025 in Opelika, Alabama, was born April 10, 2018 in Lee County, Alabama.
Public viewing will be Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Master Burns will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory: mother, Hollyann Watwood of Opelika, AL; father, Talton Burns of Opelika, AL; four sisters, Kayden Bailey, Kloee Greer, Khali Burns and Ki’Lani Burns all of Opelika, AL; one brother, Kai Bailey of Opelika, AL; maternal grandparents, Mark Watwood and Paige (Keith) Elliott both of Opelika, AL; paternal grandmother, Ayesha Burns of Opelika, AL; paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Watwood of Cullman, AL; great-great grandmother, Bobbie Jean Johnson of Cullman, AL; four uncles, Landon (Ashton) Elliott of Corpus Christi, TX, Evan (Bre) Elliott of Valley, AL, Scott Floyd and Steve Griffin both of Opelika, AL; two aunts, Taleisha Burns and Talshaia Burns both of Opelika, AL; a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
