Mr. Horace Lee McCluney of Shelby, NC passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at White Oak Manor of Shelby. Horace was born on September 22, 1948, in Cherokee County, SC, to the late Raymond Cluff McCluney and Nina Eloise Oglesby McCluney.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The reception of family and friends will be held from 1:30 until 2 p.m. The family will be meeting additionally at 2900 G.B. Blanton Road, Shelby, and also at 621 Chapel Drive in Shelby.
