Mr. Joseph Bernard Mitchell was born on June 8th, 1967 in Greensboro, Georgia to Alice Jean Mitchell and John Henry Moon.

Joseph was born and raised in Union Point, Georgia. He attended school in the Greene County School System. Joseph was known for being a skilled maintenance professional. Joseph was always ready to help with a smile. His work went far beyond his job description. He touched lives with his strong sense of responsibility and his thoughtful quiet manner.

On Friday, February 28th, 2025, Joseph was called home to be with the Lord.

Joseph is survived by his fiancé Earnesteen Denmark of Lauderhill, Fl; his father John Henry Moon (Loretta), five sister, Rosalind Belle (Michael) of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida: Dorothy, Cheryl, Eunice, Dannette of Union Point, Georgia: four brothers, Stanley Mitchell, of Union Point, Georgia, Jermaine Mitchell of Fort Lauderdale, Florida: Keith and Sam of Union Point, Georgia. two aunts Dollie Ruth Mitchell and Josephine of Union Point, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
