Mr. George W. Roberts Sr, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family at Duke University Hospital on 3/9/2025. He was born on Nov. 27, 1942 to Charlie L. and Oretha Roberts of Columbus, Ga.

Mr. Roberts is preceded in death by his sister; Mildred (Mickie) and brother-in-law; Robert (Bob) Blackburn.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife; Tina Roberts of Durham, NC, Sons; George (Billy) Roberts, Jr. (Candler, NC), D. Chris (Cerniglia) Durham, Nc. Daughters; Kameron C. Garmon and spouse Brad Garmon of Tocca, Ga., Angelique Cerniglia and spouse Timothy Trent of Pasadena, Ca.

Grandsons; Justin and Liam Cunningham (Tocca, Ga), his brother; Charlie and wife Judy Roberts of Columbus, Ga.

Nephews; Robert Blackburn, wife Vickie, and Frederick Roberts (Columbus Ga).

Nieces; Betsy Thompson (Martinez ,Ga) and April Zimermann, spouse Rob ( Bishop ,Ga)

Mr. Roberts career was approximately 55 years in retail, 22 years in the US Army Reserves and, approximately 3 years in hospitality.
