PUBLIC VISITATION for Mrs. Lula L. Washington was Friday, March 21, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mrs. Lula Lanier Washington of Tuscaloosa, Alabama was Saturday, March 22, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at New Salem Baptist Church, 364 New Salem Road in Aliceville, Alabama. The body of Mrs. Washington was in state in the church from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

INTERMENT immediately followef the funeral service in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, 364 New Salem Road, also in Aliceville. Reverend Dr. Herman Peters is The Pastor of New Salem Baptist Church. Minister Dorothy Robinson, daughter of Mrs. Lula L. Washington, was The Eulogist.
