Mathew H. Jackson, Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mathew H. Jackson, Sr. on March 13, 2025 at NHC Healthcare in Knoxville, TN.

Mathew was retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company. He is preceded in death by parents William and Lelia Jackson, sister Erma Wilson and son Mathew Jr.

Mathew is survived by: daughters Deborah, Rhonda, Trina, Jackie, and son Ricky, sisters Annette and May Jackson and brothers Wilburn, James (JoAnn), Joe and Melvin Jackson, special cousin Jack Young, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 21,2025 at 1:00 p.m. with receiving of family and friends to begin at 12:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Richard Turney officiating.

The final resting place will be held at the Sherwood Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
