SMITH- Mrs. Sharon Y. Smith, a resident of Kingsland Ga., passed away on March 29, 2025, at Southeast Georgia Health System – Brunswick Campus. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family of Calvin Smith and three children, Timothy Smith, Sarah Johnson and Mary Washington; sister, Marcella McNeil; grandchildren, Derek Johnson, Jr., Jonathan Scott, Jr. and Isaiah Johnson; nieces, Jessica Clark and Asia McNeil; and a host of nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 4, at 1 PM at Young Zion Baptist Church, 4500 E. GA Hwy40, St Marys, Georgia. Mrs. Smith's remains will lie in state on Friday, April 4, 2025, at the church from 12 NOON until the hour of service.
