Reverend Joshua Wilson, born September 16, 1937 in Indian, South Carolina, passed on to greater things on Monday March 24, 2025 at the Pruitt Palmyra Rehabilitation Nursing Home Albany, GA, after an extended illness.

Reverend Wilson attended school in the Lake City School System in Lake City, South Carolina. He later moved to Louisville, GA. During that time he became a dedicated pastor in the AME Church and a well known figure in the community. He was giving soul willing to help anyone in need. He will be missed by everyone.

Reverend Wilson was preceded in death by his parents Wash and Mattie H. Wilson, Son Van Wilson, Stepdaughter Adriane Wilson, Brother Sammy Wilson, Sisters Gertrude, Audrey, Carla and Gloria Jean Wilson, also a loving Stepmother Viola Wilson.

Reverend Wilson leaves behind his wife: Catherine Wilson; Daughter: Ashley N. Wilson; Stepchildren: Christopher Wilson, Patrick Wilson, Sandra (Johnny) Young; Brothers: Larry, Marven, John Wayne, Willie and Darryl Wilson, Sisters: Connie, Gayle and Sheila Wilson.

A Memorial service will be held at Davis Funeral Home Chapel, 725 Beech Street, Louisville, GA 30434 on Thursday April 3, 2025 at 1:00 PM.

A repast will be held immediately following at 4542 Hwy 1 South, Wadley, GA 30477.
