Mrs. Marian Annette Bradley Simms, 60, slipped into eternal rest on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her residence in Greensboro, NC. She was born on December 5, 1964, to the late Otis Bradley, Jr., and Delores Long Bradley.

Marian was reared and attended public schools in Greensboro, NC. She graduated from Dudley High School in 1983. She received an Associate of Arts degree from Guilford Technical College and was certified as a Medical Assistant

Marian was employed at Aetna CVS Health as a Senior Plan Coordinator Consultant. She was a member of Genesis Baptist Church. Marian was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and auntie. She was also a true friend to many. She was an amazing person with a bubbly personality. She was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. She loved cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She
made the best macaroni and cheese on this side of the earth.

Marian leaves loved ones to cherish her memories: her husband of 37 years, George Simms; two sons, Terrell (Shanique) Simms, Sr., and Darian (Sasha) Simms of Greensboro, NC; three granddaughters, Zaya Wall of Pittsboro, NC, and Wynter and Darrian Simms of Greensboro, NC; two grandsons, Jahsier Taylor and Terrell Simms, Jr., of Greensboro, NC; one
sister, Donna (Randolph) Mitchell, and two brothers, Anthony Bradley and Ulysses Doug (Sherri) Bradley, all of Greensboro, NC; Sister’s in Law; Cheryl (Tim) Watson of Greensboro NC; Erin (Pora) Murphy of Charlotte, NC; Brother in Law; Edward (Shannon) Moore, Tacoma, WA. Maternal Uncles; Leon (Criscilla) Long of Athens, GA and Ervin Moore of Greensboro,
NC; Maternal Aunt Robin Moore of Greensboro, NC; A special cousin Vivan Thomas of Temple Springs, MD; A special Goddaughter Ahlaysha & Braysha Douglas; A host of Nieces, Nephews cousins, other loving relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 1pm at Genesis Baptist Church 2812 East Bessemer Avenue Greensboro, North Carolina. Visitation 12:30 pm.
