Barbara Teater, 78, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025. Barbara was born on January 23, 1947, in Burbank, CA, to Richard Lee Gillis and Addie Faulkner. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of everyone she knew.

Barbara dedicated many years to working in customer service. Barbara had a passion for gardening, finding joy and peace in nurturing plants. She was also an avid lover of turtles. Her home was filled with love, and she cherished her family above all else.

She is survived by her children: Richard Teater, Tammie Mulcahy, Cheryl Shipley, Martin Teater, Michael Teater, and David Teater; 27 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Lee Gillis and Addie Faulkner.

Cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
