Willie James Elmore son of the late James Elmore and the late Betty Sabb was born December 9, 1961, in Allendale County, South Carolina.
At an early age, he sought God’s direction and joined Magdalene Chrisitan Church.
Willie James as he was affectionately called, received his education in the public schools of Allendale County and was a graduate of the class of 1981. While in school Willie James was known for outstanding football skills.
After graduation, Willie James quickly grew into manhood and became a responsible adult working various jobs; to include: welding and truck driving. His unwavering work ethic helped him provide for his family.
He was joined in holy matrimony to the former Irine Hayward.
Willie James moved to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Memorial Health University Medical Center, Savannah, Georgia.
As he begins his new journey in life, he will be greeted with love by his loving parents: James Elmore and Betty Sabb, (1) Daughter: Charmaine Elmore; loving grandmother: Mary Seabrooks; (1) Aunt: Annie Graham.
Willie James’ memories will forever be cherished by his loving wife: Irine Hayward Elmore; Allendale, SC; (1) Daughter: Jacquelyn Elmore; Allendale, SC; (1) Son: Desmond Elmore; Gifford, SC; Reared as his own: Jerell (Tiffany) Hayward; Barnwell, SC; and Nartasha (Deondra) Hayward; Columbia, SC; Reared as a grandson: Jerell Harden; Allendale, SC; (4) Sisters: Cynthia (Sidnard) Williams, Ora Lee Cave, Audrey Drayton; all of Allendale, SC; and Lyanya Ammiel; Gambia, West Africa; (2) Aunts: Bernice Elmore; Buffalo, NY; and Shiann Mitchell; Fairfax, SC; (2) Uncles: Henry Mitchell; Fairfax, SC; and Lish (Pearl) Sabb; Devoted Cousins: Sheree (Doneke) Gray, Kendra( Meech) Jones, Rakeem Graham, and Joseph Roger “Jr”; Devoted Friends: Sidney Loadholt, Tommy Williams, Stan Robinson, and the Youmans family. A host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and sympathizing friends.
