Marion Yvonne Williams Brown was born on November 9, 1951, in Quitman, Georgia, to the late Legusta and Clara Williams. She attended Washington Street High School and later dedicated her career to the Brooks County School System, where she retired from the Nutrition Department.

Marion had a passion for cooking, sewing, and hosting yard sales. She found immense joy in decorating for the holiday season, delighting the community with her extensive Christmas displays. Her warm spirit and love for family and friends were evident in every aspect of her life.

On Friday, March 28, 2025, Marion peacefully transitioned to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son, Timothy Omar Brown, and her sister, Carolyn Dix

Marion leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Horace Brown; her loving children, Dana Phillips, Kenneth Brown Sr. (Anastasia), Jason Brown Sr. (Syreeta), and Octavius Brown; her grandchildren, Kenneth Brown Jr. (Taylor), Jason Brown Jr. (Keyasia), and Xavier Brown; and her great-grandchild, Jace Brown. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Barbara Davis and Loretta Moss (Charles), along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Her love, kindness, and joyful spirit will be forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Marion Brown will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM – BTW Funeral Services Chapel.
