TYLER--Funeral services for Mr. Troy Wood will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 1 p.m. at the Kingdom Church in Tyler, Texas. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Flint, Texas.

Troy Wood Sr. was born on May 3, 1935 in Coffee City to Annie Mae Davis and Clifford Woods. He received his formal education from Frankston High School.

Troy met and married Lesterene McMillian and to this 9 children were born. There were 3 boys and 6 girls.

He is proceeded in death by his wife: Lesterene McMillian Wood and parents: Clifford Wood and Annie Mae Davis along with 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his sons: Loyce McMillian, Troy Wood Jr ( Vivian) and Reginald Wood (Jalisa); daughters: Carolyn McMillian, Shelia Armstrong, Cheryl Sanders (Wayne), Gaile Barnes (Ricky) and Ashley Wood; 17 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren; 4 brothers: Bennie Davis (Kenyetta), Lonnie Woods, Fred Woods, Clifford Woods Jr.; 4 sisters: Ellone Smith, Betty Joyce Woods, Mary Jill Field (Earl), Ruthie Seward.

Public viewing will be Friday, April 4, 2025 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
